This hotel offers neat and fine rooms with pullout couch as well as the cleanliness of the lobby. It offers an awesome location and has very courteous and accommodating staff about that manager. The restaurant serves hot local food.

We had a great stay at La Quinta By Wyndham Mathis. the room was spacious and brand new, just like advertised. the king bed was comfortable, and the AC kept us cool. the hotel's location near South Padre Island was convenient for our trip.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early due to the impending hurricane. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel facilities, including the pools, were nice and provided a peaceful environment at night. The hotel's location in the I-37 area of Mathis was convenient and close to everything, including a nearby truck stop.

We will definitely come back if given the chance. The king room had a flat-screen television, a work desk, and an electronic key card, which made our stay very convenient. It was great being within a short walk of Smolik's Smokehouse, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner.
